Im doin my final year thesis on the Correlation between leaving residential care and homelessness....I really really would be so grateful if anyone knows where i can get good stat's or any information in General on ths topic. :)

I personally know of several people that have left residential care or sheltered accomodation to become homeless.
I'm in London, and as I do not know what part of the world that you are living in the reasons that they did so might be applicable to Britain only.

i.e Different government policies might have influenced the persons decision to have moved out, for example: care policies here in Britain might be different from those in mainland Europe or America.

I'm sure that you have come to the right place for the answers you seek, let's see if those answers come to you.

How about a story molly. Quid Pro Quo. Mine is a good one, its not about me , rather a friend. I want to know why, or how you decided to follow this degree and what it is.

I'm not certain exactly what you mean, but you might find some useful stats here:
NATIONAL SURVEY OF HOMELESS ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS AND CLIENTS (http://www.studentsagainsthunger.org/urban_survey.pdf)

This is a US census survey of 40,000 shelters. Among the stats is a comparison of success rates of various types of shelters including faith based and secular and where the clients went after discharge, including back to the streets or to institutions or friends and family, etc.

It is a 70 page pdf document compiled by the census bureau where administrators of housing programs were asked where their clients went after leaving the program.
