I'm a relatively new comer to the forum and my interest is as a volunteer in the not-for-profit area and as a mentor for a young girl needing support. I am seeing more in the media print re homelessness - for instance low cost housing has been constructed on the Sunshine Coast and is now moving its focus to Brisbane. (I'll suss out more about this). Brisbane City Council runs HomelessConnect twice a year - held also at the Gold Coast. The topic needs more and more plugging, phoning, writing to Councillors and MP's to keep it on the boil.
